Even if you are managing a very conservative business, having links on my site will not show up in search results or effect your site, except to drive it to the top of the search engines.
Proven Results: Typically you will find your site listed within the top five pages of Google search within only 4 to 8 weeks. After about three to four months, you will often be on page one of Google search for 3-4 of your keywords. I've had some clients sites pop to the top of Google within a week.
